A Sunday Afternoon in the Arboretum...

I recently had the pleasure of photographing baby H and her mom and dad in the beautiful Acton Arboretum. The arboretum is a wonderful spot for a photo session at any time of year as the variety of plants provide a different backdrop of blooms throughout the seasons. It is also filled with meandering paths, benches, trellises and bridges to use in your photos. There is also ample space at the Arboretum so your photo back drops are never crowded with other photographers and visitors of the grounds.

This young family was such a dream to work with. Baby H was the happiest little lady that had no stranger-danger fear of me. We were able to highlight her cuteness using a longer lens so she didn't have a camera right up in her face all the time because that can be off-putting to anyone. Her parents obvious joy at their expanded family and their love for each other shone through each image. They had an ease with each other and the camera that made our session so much fun.

I hope to see this family again soon and capture their family as they grow through the years.
