A location with meaning...

I love when families choose a location for their photoshoot that is meaningful to them. For this high school senior, the spot was the beautiful grounds of Camp Sewataro located in Sudbury. N has been a camper at Camp Sewataro (as have his siblings) for many, many years. A summer would not be complete for this family without endless hours spent on these grounds having fun as campers and now spreading the fun to the new generation as counselors. I can only imagine the countless memories that this family has on these grounds and now they have them forever documented together in this high school senior and family photoshoot.

When choosing a location for your photoshoot, I highly recommend you think about the type of background you want (woodsy, open field, urban/cityscape, waterfront/beach) and choose that first. The colors of the backdrop of a beach shoot at sunset varies greatly from a woodsy shoot. Those colors will also help direct you on which colors you should wear to compliment your backdrop For example, in a field of green I would definitely avoid outfits with green and choose colors that will pop! If you have a specific location in mind, that is easy! If you don't have a location in mind, I am here to help! I am always happy to help you find a location that fits your wants. Hopefully these blog posts with sample photos also help you visual what your family shoot would look like in these various locations as well.

Alas, for N and his family, there was only 1 location choice for them and it was a beautiful one! I can't wait to see what the next year brings for N and his family and wish him all the best on his senior year!
